چکیده
This paper presents the flexural capacity of reinforced concrete beams designed with high-strength steel bars. Reinforced bars fy = 550 MPa are to have flexuralstrength like bar 420 MPa. According ACI 318M-19, (fy =550 MPa) allowed use as reinforcing steel, which previously unpermitted. study was conductedto represent possibility using reinforcement. There five sample thatdesign various diameters (13 and 19 mm) strength longitudinal reinforcement. These were placed on two simple supported undergo monotonic loads at points-load. It isreviewed involve load capacity, moment, beamdeflection. Also, behavior when receiving in terms relationship between anddeflection. Based research, a can accept higher than normalbeams by difference about 16-18%. While same deflection condition, is 100 mm, withhigh reinforcement achieve around 18 percent. Beam barsshowed that not much different from normal-strength because it did notshow brittle collapse. proves be used structuralelements if satisfies requirements specified code.

Flexural Testing of High Strength Reinforced Concrete Beams Strengthened with CFRP Sheets
The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of externally bonded CFRP sheets to increase the flexural strength of reinforced high strength concrete (HSC) beams. Four-point bending flexural tests to complete failure on six concrete beams, strengthened with different layouts of CFRP sheets were conducted. Three-dimensional nonlinear finite element (FE) models were adopted by A...

This paper investigates experimentally and analytically the torsion behavior of steel fibered high strength self compacting concrete beams reinforced by GFRP bars. Steel fibered high strength self compacting concrete (SFHSSCC) and GFRP bars became in the recent decades a very important materials in the structural engineering field. The use of GFRP bars to replace steel bars has emerged as one o...

When earthquakes occur, energy released by the earthquake gets induced into the structure as ground motion and this energy has to be dissipated for safety reasons. To release seismic energy, the structure should damage in such a way that on one hand, collapse of structure should not occur and on the other hand, after the earthquake, damage should be economically feasible to repair. To avoid the...
